Despite all the trouble that COVID has caused for the world (and for couples trying to plan a wedding), one thing I’ve enjoyed about the past few years is the creativity and variety of different wedding celebrations that have surfaced. Couples have really had to think about what’s most important to them and they’ve gotten so creative in the way they approach their weddings!
For these two, I’ve had the absolute pleasure of getting to know them over a few years and have photographed multiple celebrations, from their engagement back in 2020, to this sweet and intimate backyard wedding last year, and now their full wedding day next month! I feel like it brings a whole new level to the photographer couple relationship as we’ve seen each other grow over the years and maintained a connection. It’s been amazing to get to capture all the moments leading up to this, but man am I excited to see the full wedding day finally arrive for them!!
As we lead up to the big day, I wanted to highlight their sweet spring backyard wedding last year! I still remember what beautiful light we had, how happy and laid back and meaningful the day was, how stunning they both looked, and how beautiful her parents’ backyard is!
