One of my favorite locations lately for outdoor garden photos is Elizabeth Gamble Garden in Palo Alto. It’s free and open to the public (unless there’s a wedding or event, in which case half of the space is usually blocked off but most of the garden pathways still remain open). Plus it looks different every time I go as the seasons change and different flowers bloom. I’m pretty sure my jaw literally dropped when I arrived for Hannah and Alex’s engagement session last fall and saw the most stunning dahlias blooming amidst golden hour! They came prepared with the perfect outfits to compliment the garden (I always send an Engagement Session Style Guide to my clients!), and there were so many beautiful corners that we spent the entire 2 hours wandering around the space!
Keep reading to see how Hannah and Alex glowed during their engagement session (seriously, they’re the sweetest!), and make sure you scroll all the way to the end to find the photos in front of the greenhouse where their laughter and smiles came from me hiding in some bushes and trees to try to get the shot! 🙂
