This Palo Alto brand photoshoot with Talia Koren of Dating Intentionally podcast was the perfect blend of storytelling and strategy.
As a Bay Area brand photographer, one of my favorite things is working with returning clients to evolve their visuals as their brand grows. After photographing Talia’s first podcast and lifestyle branding session last year, this time it was all about creating more elevated, modern content for her podcast, social media, and website. Talia is also super organized, creative, and decisive, which makes her a great collaborative partner!
We chose Bar Zola in Palo Alto for the location, a restaurant and bar that not only has incredible design, rich colors, and a warm, inviting atmosphere, but is also a space where Talia and her husband have shared some dates. (All things which made it the perfect setting for a dating-inspired brand photoshoot!) A huge thank you to the Bar Zola team for allowing us to photograph in such a beautiful and thoughtfully designed space.
The concept for this podcast branding session was rooted directly in her brand: Dating Intentionally. The goal was to create photos that feel like you’re on a date with her. A lifestyle brand photoshoot where she’s sipping a cocktail, sitting across the table, observing, reflecting, and yes, taking notes.
In just a short time we created a mix of candid, fun, and polished images designed for versatility. From podcast cover options to Instagram content, YouTube thumbnails, and website imagery, every photo was created with her brand and audience in mind.
This is what intentional brand photography looks like. Strategic, personal, and built to connect.
