This modern burgundy wedding at Chabot Space & Science Center in Oakland, California was the perfect mix of playful, personal, and completely unique to the Bay Area. As one of the most distinctive wedding venues in Oakland (and literally 5 minutes from my house), Chabot gave guests the chance to explore science exhibits during cocktail hour and head up to the rooftop observatory to look through giant telescopes in the evening before rejoining the dance floor. What other wedding venue gives guests such a unique experience?!
The day began with getting ready at the Claremont Resort in Berkeley, followed by portraits featuring bold color, a space mural backdrop, and a rich burgundy bridal look that tied everything together. From heartfelt moments during the ceremony (featuring their adorable son) to disco helmets on the dance floor, this Oakland wedding was full of personality and the kind of celebration that makes Chabot Space & Science Center such a memorable place to get married!
