The Walt Disney Family Museum inspired this styled elopement with the transition from black and white line drawings and film to full color animation. 🖤🌈
I had a lot of fun with this concept since it’s so different from anything I’ve photographed before! I even decided to style multiple different elopement announcements and details in both black and white as well as vibrant color to go with both ends of the spectrum.
We started at the super conveniently located Lodge at the Presidio (literally right next door), where the black, white, and grey outfits reminded me of the early line drawings of Mickey Mouse in the museum (see photos below), and the creative pocket boutonnieres by Flor Anetti brought that pop of color and animation to the look.
We then made our way through the museum galleries, theater (my fave!), and separate gallery building out back (Diane Disney Miller Exhibition Hall) which provided the perfect blank slate for lots of color and creativity. The color transition was complete with bright cocktail glasses and a vibrant lounge at the end!
Enjoy the transition from simple black and white to complex color as you look through these highlights!
