Ciera and Sam had a literal storybook wedding at Mission Ranch in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California. Even the location sounds like a place teeming with charming cottages and cobblestone alleyways with cute wooden signs. And guess what? Carmel is EXACTLY like that! My favorite part was the nod to her librarian career and love of books! 📚
This is the first time I got to work with an actual book when styling details (shoutout to Ciera for including the book “The Wedding People” with her details) and I love how the ring shot turned out on top of the book! Scroll down and you can see that the words in focus with the rings say “A fun day.” 😉 And the vintage card catalog was the cutest way to hold the guest escort cards!
Other favorite sweet touches included the table numbers made of tiny drawn flowers, the sheep that photobombed golden hour, the way her dress flowed when she moved (one of the photos looks like an actual painting), and a perfectly summery and colorful bouquet! Yes, I brought the coral/pink backdrop specifically for this bouquet moment/photo! Worth it!
What a joy it was to celebrate with this crew! I feel so lucky that I get to spend my days witnessing meaningful moments with such wonderful people. See some of my favorite moments from the day below. I had a hard time narrowing this one down! 💛
