It’s such a pleasure to photograph friends! I’ve known Mary for years since we work together as ICU nurses in the city! We’ve also spent many winters together with girlfriends at Lake Tahoe! Those were days filled with snowboarding, hot tub soaking, games (salad bowl anyone?!), and reading aloud our online dating profiles (haha!).
Fast forward a few years and we both became engaged at the same time, AND our weddings are one week apart this year! We even went on our first wedding dress shopping experience together! (How fun is that?!) So you can imagine my excitement when she asked me to take her wedding and engagement photos! October is going to be an amazing month!
For their engagement session, Mary and Gregg wanted colorful and fun photos around their home neighborhood: the Mission District in San Francisco! And there’s no better place in the city for vibrant photo locations! So many murals and fun colors! (We went to Clarion Alley and the Women’s Building.) Plus they also requested a taco and beer stop, and we found the most vibrant taqueria (El Metate) with an amazing yellow wall (keep scrolling)!
On top of all that, we stumbled upon a spontaneous dance party on the street and ended the evening with the beautiful views from Mission Dolores Park! And they were so happy and so in love that they never stopped smiling, kissing, and generally having a blast! THIS is what I wish for all of my friends and clients! It makes me so happy to see two of the kindest and sweetest souls so joyfully in love! You two deserve the best! I can’t wait for your wedding day!
(Scroll on to see all the fun!)
When the music is pumping in the streets and you can’t help but join in on the fun! 🙂
Absolute love and contentment <3
