I recently had the honor of photographing Bubbles and Rainier (two adorable Samoyeds) at Creative Space Studios in Dublin, CA. Their owners were interested in creative, colorful, and whimsical sets; which was perfect for what I love to do! In fact, I already had a handful of concepts in mind! So I got to work creating a plan (see below) and dreaming up fun props.
After a few trips to Michael’s and late night crafting, I had a field of giant mushrooms and flowers to play around with! And while I do love the mushroom and flower set, I have to say that my favorite is the balloons and bow ties (bow ties are from The Foggy Dog). The pups were curious about the balloons but didn’t quite warm up to them. And wait until you see our attempt at confetti… 🎉😂🙈 The look that Bubbles gives the confetti as it falls all over him makes me laugh every time!
