The best thing I’ve seen in the past few years when it comes to weddings is couples going with the flow and doing what feels right to them. These two ended up hosting a laid back and fun midday gathering with friends and family complete with food, drinks, outdoor dancing, and lots of games, all surrounded by the most luscious summer garden! You have to see their golden hour portraits among the roses!
I loved how laid back their day was since they decided to just have a celebration without the wedding party or ceremony (they were already legally married, so no need!). This allowed them to spend lots of time with their guests and explore the beautiful property! Throughout the day you could find people eating, drinking, playing games, hanging out under the shade of the tent, or just going for a walk and exploring the gardens. There was even a spontaneous run to Target for beer pong supplies at the end of the day (scroll to the end for those photos). What a blast!
Oh, and don’t even get me started on the bride’s gorgeous pink hair and flowy dress with pockets! SO amazing! I’m a strong believer that every 👏🏻 dress 👏🏻 should 👏🏻 have 👏🏻 pockets! 👏🏻 Am I right?!
