I remember hearing about how Amelia and Will started dating: They were out at a bar/restaurant with a group of friends and she pulled out a Trivial Pursuit game and had him quiz her on the science questions. He said at that point, he knew he wanted to date her. I adore that story, and I love the way the two of them can enjoy things like road trips and adventures together, and still completely support each other in their separate endeavors (running marathons for her, and jiu-jitsu for him). Their caring and attentive natures came out as they looked out for each other while hiking and climbing rocks during their adventurous engagement session at Pinnacles National Park!

Pinnacles was such a great choice for them due to their love of nature and Amelia’s love of wildlife (especially the condors that live at the park). I was so impressed with how they maneuvered the trails and rocky terrain in dress clothes (and sometimes even heels!!). It was definitely my kind of fun! Amelia mentioned that wearing hiking shoes with a dress is something she can be found doing fairly often as she goes between her active life and other activities, so it was fun to get to document that moment too!
