It was an absolutely perfect northern California wedding day filled with coastal charm, an outdoor reception, and that touch of evening fog that we’ve grown to know so well in the Bay Area. I remember them telling me the story of their relationship as we hiked down Slacker Hill in Marin after spending the evening taking engagement photos.

It all began in an Uber ride, and there were two sides to the story, as they were hanging out together and she didn’t know that he was trying to pursue a relationship! That brings me to their wedding toasts, where his best friend read some of the texts he sent about his now bride when they were first dating. It literally brought me to tears! And that, my friends, is why toasts are one of my favorite parts of the wedding day!

Another highlight of the day was driving down the coast to take couple portraits where they were engaged. Such a special time to step away and soak in the moment together! Honestly, these two are pure joy! When they look at each other they can’t help but have the biggest smiles and you can just feel their emotions and connection!
