Lifestyle and portrait photography is my favorite thing to shoot lately! (See here and here!) There’s just an incredible amount of creativity involved in learning about someone and trying to portray who they are through photographs. I feel like this type of photography really allows me time to connect with people on a deeper level since it’s just the two of us! And these connections are one of the main reasons why I love photography! Real. Human. Connection. Guys, let’s all have more of this, okay?! 🙂

And this fellow photographer, Shannon May Brown, absolutely fills up my soul! She is real, incredibly sweet, and just exudes joy! We’ve worked together to photograph weddings and we actually met though another photographer a few years ago before she even lived in the Bay Area.

We took Shannon’s branding photos at the most beautiful natural light studio in Dublin, called Creative Space Studios and it was the perfect backdrop for her cozy, fun, and dessert-filled portraits! Yes, I said dessert-filled!
