Whimsical Summer and Wildflower Styled Portraits // Half Moon Bay

I’m so stinking excited to show you my favorite personal project so far this year and my first ever styled photoshoot! That basically means that I had a vision in my head of something that I wanted to photograph, and then actually made it happen with the help of some other lovely creative folks! Working with other people who are as excited about this stuff as I am, just fuels my creative fire! I always leave feeling motivated and excited about future projects (of which I have a few in mind already)! So here are the wonderful people who helped make this possible!

I dreamt up the idea for this styled shoot during the winter months when I was craving those carefree days of summer from back when! I was inspired by a vintage colorful California vibe and the yellow mustard flower fields that were popping up everywhere after a few days of rain. Half Moon Bay was the perfect backdrop with a cute downtown and pops of color everywhere!

We were chasing the sunlight because the Bay Area traffic held us up a bit, but I’m impressed with what we were able to accomplish in a short time! Take a look at some of my favorite photos from the day and let me know which location you liked best! 🙂
