As a photographer, the ultimate compliment is having a fellow photographer ask me to take his/her photos! (See here and here) Especially when it’s someone as amazing as Emily Kim Photography, who specializes in brand photography! Emily reached out because she was refreshing her brand (new logo, colors, and updated website), had recently started a new studio space in Los Altos (The Sunlight Space), and was need of some new photos to showcase it all!
I was sooo excited about the ideas we came up with to show off her personality, brand, and new offerings (travel branding sessions, mentor sessions, and the studio space). Plus The Sunlight Space is an absolute dream to photograph in! It has 2 full walls of windows with soft drapery for bright and even light, blank white wall space (a must in my opinion), a kitchen corner, and the cutest office setup and props to create any scene that you might want!
So yeah, it was definitely a session for the dream books! Oh, and Kirsten (my favorite creative copywriter from Alway Services) joined us as well! These two together are the ultimate fun machine! Those laughs at the end are completely legit because they just have a blast together! Keep going and you’ll see what I mean 🙂
